Barrier Columns can be used instead of Jersey Barriers for traffic and pedestrian mitigation.
  • The bases can be placed side by side, allowing for 2 feet of space between the columns. This allows people to pass but keeps the motorized traffic out. 
  • A Barrier Column (24" x 24" x 4" thick) weighs only 333 lbs. as opposed to a jersey barrier that weigh 4400 lbs.
  • They also cost less at $50.00 where jersey barriers cost $400.00.
Our standard base sizes are: 24'' x 24'' x 4'' thick for $50.00 and 30'' x 35'' x 6'' for $90.00 - both have a 1' x 1' x 2' high column.

  • Column and base can be built to your specifications
  • Conduit can be placed to build fencing or add light poles and electricity
  • Barrier Columns also make great animal pens - they aren't portable but they can be moved. Keep your animals where you want them, not just where you have fences.
